Peter H. Diamandis โ€” Moonshots on YouTube

The name "Moonshots" belongs to three different shows โ€” and the flagship is Moonshots with Peter Diamandis, the weekly technology podcast from XPRIZE founder Peter H. Diamandis that tracks how exponential technology is reshaping humanity.

Hosted by Diamandis alongside Salim Ismail, Dave Blundin, and Alexander Wissner-Gross, the show reaches an audience of over 1 million entrepreneurs and innovators worldwide, with guests including Elon Musk, Cathie Wood, Ray Kurzweil, and Emad Mostaque. Its focus: artificial intelligence, the singularity, longevity, space exploration, and energy breakthroughs. (diamandis.com/podcast)

3 ยท The Moonshot Podcast (Google X)

Radical invention, behind the scenes. Show History & Format

Moonshots began life as Moonshots and Mindsets โ€” the name grew naturally out of Diamandis' philosophy that humanity's biggest problems get solved when we aim for goals that sound "impossible." After the rebrand to Moonshots with Peter Diamandis, the format stayed: a weekly, news-driven conversation with the full crew, usually running around two hours, with a back catalog that has already passed 279 episodes on the main channel (YouTube playlist).

The show's signature is the "WTF just happened in tech" roundup, where the four Mates spin through the week's biggest stories โ€” frontier-model releases, robotics, energy, space, and longevity science โ€” and argue about what actually matters. Those segments age well because they capture each story at the moment it broke, then add context from four very different operating perspectives: entrepreneur (Blundin), organizational strategist (Ismail), scientist (Wissner-Gross), and physician-entrepreneur (Diamandis).

Guest interviews are the show's second pillar, and the guest list reads like a who's who of the exponential era: Elon Musk, Cathie Wood, Ray Kurzweil, Emad Mostaque, and Michael Saylor โ€” plus Jared Isaacman, whose EP #274 appearance covered NASA's moon base by 2028, Optimus robots on the Moon, and a 15-year Mars timeline (all episodes).

The show also meets its audience in person: Moonshots Live 2026 takes place September 25, 2026 in Los Angeles โ€” Peter and the Mates gather a room of builders, creators, and optimists working to steer humanity toward an extraordinary future (Moonshots Live 2026 trailer).
